We had our Thanksgiving dinner in the hospital cafeteria. Shirlene stayed up most of the night before cooking the dinner. Beth and Aleena helped with the final preparations after they got into town.
Benson refers to the hospital as his mommy and daddy's home. He likes to go there to visit. Two of his favorite things are riding the glass elevator and pulling and riding in the hospital's red wagons.
Claire's kidneys still are not functioning properly, which seems to contribute to her high blood pressure, rapid heart beat, and anemic blood.
